SCOTT W. BRYANT, CFP®

Scott is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner (CFP®) with over 25 years of investment and financial advisory experience.   He joined oXYGen Financial after working with two Fortune 500 financial services firms in order to work with clients in a truly independent fashion with the flexibility to meet the different needs of each client.

Scott graduated from Babson College with a BS in Finance and Investments and over the next ten years held positions within real estate syndication, development and investment banking where he was directly involved in real estate transactions in excess of $1.0 billion dollars.

After graduating with his MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, Scott joined American Express Financial Advisors, where he quickly rose through the ranks to manage offices in Columbia and Annapolis, Maryland.  He later managed the St Louis, Missouri office for the spin-off company Ameriprise Financial.  During his 14 years with the firm he built and sold two practices, trained hundreds of advisors and acted in numerous leadership positions including the role of managing principal.  Most recently, Scott was with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans a Fortune 400, not-for-profit, where he was focused on growing Thrivent’s capacity in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Scott lives in Johns Creek with his wife Sheila and their three children Jake, Catherine and Claire.
